I have also calculated the money I saved in this two years by not buying plastic water bottle is ~ Rs 500 – 1200.
This I have calculated by using plastic water bottle for 1-2 weeks, by refilling it and using it (I know it releases microplastic so I immediately switch to stainless steel bottle)

Double wall stainless steel bottle

Is drinking water in stainless steel is safe for adults and kids?
There are many Stainless steel bottle for kids with silicon design for kids friendly which are safe for drinking as they does not posses microplastic and are BPA free. But giving bottle in their hand can be risky as bottle is heavy and can hurt by themselves or to any other. Solution is checkout a silicon design on outer side of stainless steel bottle body which is soft and doesn’t hurt.
Some brands even make stainless steel baby bottles that keep milk warm without microwaving. Just make sure to pick the right size and a leak-proof lid.
